Calling all high school youth in Oakville North-Burlington! If you are interested in federal politics, making a difference in your community, meeting like-minded people and joining a local forum to learn about issues affecting the community overall while providing a youth perspective, consider submitting your application to be on MP Pam Damoff’s 2023-2024 youth council.

This year’s youth council will run from November 2023 until June 2024. The commitment will be approximately one meeting per month. Members are also eligible to receive volunteer hours for their participation which can be used towards their graduation requirements. Once the council is selected, members will have a full schedule of meetings up front so they can plan their time accordingly, with the first meeting taking place on November 15, 2023.

The deadline to submit an application is October 23, 2023 at the end of the business day. Due to an overwhelming interest in previous councils, this year’s council will have limited spots for members, in order to ensure a productive learning experience for everyone.
